The boudoir experience at Flower of Life Photography is designed to make you feel empowered, confident, & beautifully seen. From the moment you book your session, you’ll notice that this experience is all about you—crafted to bring out your unique beauty & celebrate your individuality.
Once you’ve booked your session, I’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out. This isn’t just any questionnaire—it's your opportunity to share what makes you feel your best. You’ll be asked about your favorite & least favorite physical features, so I can tailor your poses to accentuate what you love most about yourself. We’ll also dive into the fun details, like your preferred drinks & snacks, so you can feel nourished & pampered before we begin. I’ll ask for your undergarment size to ensure that I have a selection of lingerie that fits you perfectly. If you have any preferences for hair & makeup, let me know, & I’ll make sure we style you in a way that makes you feel fabulous.
You’ll also get to explore the products & collections available, & we can discuss a payment plan that works best for you. Whether you want a stunning album, wall art, or a polaroid style prints, I’ll help you choose the perfect way to showcase your gorgeous photos.
After you complete the questionnaire, we’ll start a new email thread dedicated to your session. This is where you can ask me any questions, share your photo inspiration, & discuss any other details leading up to your shoot. I want you to feel completely comfortable & excited about your session, so this open line of communication is all about making sure everything is just right.
When the big day arrives, you’ll step into the studio & be greeted with your personalized robe, complete with your name on it. From there, it’s time to relax & let the pampering begin. You’ll enjoy your favorite snacks & drinks while my professional hair & makeup artist works her magic. We’ll have some fun music playing to set the mood & get you feeling energized & confident.
Once your look is perfected, we’ll go through the lingerie pieces we selected just for you. Then, we’ll start the shoot! Don’t worry about knowing how to pose—I’ll guide you every step of the way. My goal is to make you feel at ease & ensure you look amazing in every shot. We’ll move smoothly through poses designed to highlight your favorite features, & I’ll show you sneak peeks on the back of the camera so you can see just how stunning you look. :)
As soon as your session wraps up, I’ll get to work editing your photos to perfection. Typically, your digital gallery will be ready within the same week. If you’ve ordered any products, they’ll be prepared as soon as the gallery is complete. When your products arrive at the studio, I’ll send you an email to schedule a pickup. Your items will be beautifully gift-wrapped, with added touches like bows, goodies, & special coupons.
